QA Tester

Job Description

We are seeking experienced QA Tester to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing comprehensive quality assurance efforts to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. As a QA Tester, you will play a key role in the testing process, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the overall improvement of our software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Strategy –

• Develop, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans and test strategies.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to define testing scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Assess project requirements to create effective test cases and scenarios.

Test Execution and Analysis –

• Perform functional, regression, performance, and acceptance testing.
• Conduct thorough test case reviews and ensure test coverage.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, and work closely with developers to facilitate resolution.

Automation –

• Implement and maintain automated test scripts to increase efficiency and test coverage.
• Identify opportunities for test automation and contribute to the automation framework.

Team Collaboration –

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA team members.
• Foster a culture of quality within the development team.

Continuous Improvement –

• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the quality assurance process.
• Stay updated on industry best practices, testing tools, and technologies.

Documentation –

• Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test execution reports.
• Document and communicate testing processes and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a QA Tester (Automation and Manual both).
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
• Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. Selenium) and SQL.
• Experience in Software Testing (Manual and Automated), System Test, Integration Test and/or User Acceptance Test.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
