Arosys is looking for a dynamic and experienced QA Lead.
Job Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Process Definition
Test Strategy & Planning: Define and implement the overall testing strategy, approach, and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) for projects or product releases. This includes defining the scope, objectives, and test phases.
Test Plan Creation: Develop comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases based on product requirements and specifications.
Process Improvement: Continuously review, recommend, and implement improvements to QA processes, workflows, and standards to increase efficiency, coverage, and quality.
Metrics and Reporting: Define and track key Quality Assurance metrics (e.g., defect density, test coverage, release readiness) and provide regular reports to stakeholders and management on test progress and product quality.
Risk Management: Identify potential project and quality risks early in the development cycle and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Team Leadership & Management
Team Supervision: Lead, manage, and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the QA team (analysts and engineers), including assigning tasks and monitoring progress.
Mentorship and Coaching: Mentor, coach, and support junior QA staff, helping them with technical challenges, skill development, and career growth.
Performance Management: Review the team’s work, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures.
Resource Allocation: Ensure the team has the necessary tools, environments, and resources for effective testing.
Technical Execution & Coordination
Test Execution Oversight: Oversee the execution of both manual and automated tests, ensuring thorough test coverage.
Automation Strategy: Drive and contribute to the automation test strategy, including framework selection, maintenance, and development of automated test scripts.
Defect Management: Act as an escalation point for complex issues, manage the defect lifecycle (identifying, logging, tracking, and verifying fixes), and hold defect review meetings.
Technical Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product managers, and business stakeholders, to align on release cycles, requirements, and quality expectations.
Environments & Tooling: Manage and maintain test environments and the necessary tooling for testing (e.g., test management tools, bug tracking systems).
Required Qualifications
This is not work from home. Must work from our Bhilai CG office
Minimum 5+ years of experience as Quality Analyst
Certified Quality Analyst certification required
Experience leading a QA team for at least 2 years
Nice to have – Experience working with tools like Jira Nice to have – Experience with automated/AI testing
